Future Plans

The R.O.C.K. of AGES land campaign began with a gift match challenge from Charles Avery in early 2014. Despite just completing an expansion of our current facility, the demand for equine-facilitated activities at R.O.C.K. had not slowed and we knew that we were going to need to grow if we were to meet the needs those with disabilities in our community.

By the end of that same year, R.O.C.K. had a signed contract to purchase 20 acres of land adjacent to the existing property! The planning process is underway to determine the best strategies for utilizing this new land as well as our existing acreage. The expectation is that the additional land will provide opportunities for a new arena so that we can expand our services, particularly for our veterans program, that it will provide far greater pasture capacity for our existing and expanding herd, allow for expanded trails for our riders, and so many more options that have yet to be identified.

We are so grateful for those who believe in R.O.C.K. and have stepped forward to make this land purchase possible as well as for those who will be part of this very exciting expansion of R.O.C.K. in 2015.
