Georgetown, TX (July 19, 2016) — ROCK, Ride On Center for Kids – a Georgetown-based nonprofit provider of equine-assisted activities and therapies for children, adults and veterans with physical, cognitive and emotional challenges – is delighted to announce the receipt of the 23rd Annual Texas Quest for Excellence – Pioneer Level Award.
ROCK submitted an organizational profile, the first step of the Baldrige process, to Quality Texas Foundation for review and feedback on how to improve the organization. ROCK received the award from Quality Texas Foundation at the 23rd Annual Texas Quest for Excellence Conference held in San Antonio, TX on June 26-28, 2016.
The Williamson County Institute for Excellence in Nonprofits in Georgetown encouraged ROCK on this journey towards excellence with The Quality Texas Foundation. The Quality Texas Foundation helps businesses, hospitals, schools, government agencies and non-profits improve performance.
The Williamson County Institute for Excellence in Nonprofits and The Quality Texas Foundation encourages use of the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence and other methods that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
