Jocelyn came to ROCK for the first time this past summer during Camp Brightside. She was suffering from some challenges including self-esteem, and her family’s hope was that healing would come through horses for Jocelyn.
“My granddaughter, Jocelyn Reinke, had the opportunity to attend a 4-week session at ROCK in July. It was life-changing for her. Jocelyn struggles with severe dyslexia and ADHD, and, as a result lacks confidence in herself. Jocelyn is the most loving, kind, sweet, smiley little girl, and seeing her tearful and challenged has been heartbreaking for our family. Her struggles to read and perform in school have ebbed away at her self-esteem, and her belief in herself.
Enters ROCK and the lovely and charming Miss Stephanie, and in only 4 weeks, we’ve seen Jocelyn happier, and demonstrating increased confidence in herself. The manner in which Miss Stephanie instructs is incredibly self – esteem building for Jocelyn and she has flourished. Her favorite day of the week is Wednesday, and she beams with delight as she enters the training ring which is so heartwarming for our family supporting her.
Weekly, Jocelyn is cheered on by her parents, grandparents and brother as she is instructed by Stephanie, Kristin, and the ROCK Team. This experience has been a blessing and so valuable in building Jocelyn’s confidence. She believes in herself now, and we want this positive experience to continue in the Fall Session and beyond.
Thank you again. The facility, the team, the horse (Brandi), and, especially Miss Stephanie are simply outstanding.
Thank you again.
Kathy Nealis, grandmother”
We are so happy that Jocelyn was able to begin her journey to healing through horses at ROCK and look forward to watching her grow and develop!
