ROCK Rodeo 2022

May 9, 2022 by ROCK Ride On Center for Kids

ROCK was honored to host our 23rd Annual ROCK Rodeo from May 2 through May 6 at the Merlin Hoppe Arena in Georgetown, TX. This special event presented by Megladon, iRex, Austin Reliability Labs and John Culbert, is a longstanding tradition held to celebrate the achievements of our participants throughout the year.

This fun, rodeo-themed week gaves participants the opportunity to dress up in their favorite western wear and participate in rodeo games such as barrel racing, tic-tac-toe, scavenger hunts, and steer head ring toss. Participants also received a special commemorative t-shirt and trophy.

“Staff, participants, and families look forward to this week each year,” said Olivia Coleman, ROCK instructor and organizer of ROCK Rodeo. “For our kids and adults who don’t have the chance to go to horse shows or compete in other sports, ROCK Rodeo is a chance to show off their riding skills and celebrate what they can do. It’s a really fun way to cap off the year for everyone.”

Thank you so much to our event sponsors for helping make this day happen. Megladon has been a sponsor of Rodeo Week since the event was first held in 2000 and was joined by iRex, Austin Reliability Labs and John Culbert in recent years.
